Welcome to another Nerdgasms.net toy review! I’m going to apologize in advance. My wife’s good camera is in the shop for repair, so I have to resort to the dreaded phone camera. Next review, the photos will be better.
This review is for another in the Half-Shell Heroes line. This time its Raph and his fire boat.
If you didn’t see the last review, the Half-Shell Heroes line is similar to Playskool’s Star Wars Jedi Force line, except with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are limited articulated, 2.5 inch tall figures.
Don’t let that last comment fool you though. This is a FANTASTIC line. I’ll tell you why:
1) These figures have a ton of playability.
2) These figures have a ton of collectibility.
3) They are the characters you love from the Nickelodeon cartoon.
There are about 20 figures in this line which gives you a wide array of characters, but not so many that it gets difficult to to complete and doesn’t break the bank.
The big difference between this and the 2-packs is this comes with 1 figure and a vehicle. The cool thing about the figure is that it just isn’t a toy for land…it’s also made for the bathtub! And it comes complete with real water squirt action. I know as a kid, I would have loved this. But I’m just an old guy. Let’s find out what the expert thinks about this line!
This is my daughter Asha. She’s just shy of 12 months. Although technically this line is for ages 3 and up, she thinks it’s the bee’s knees. But don’t take my word for it…let the pictures be the proof.
If that isn’t enough to make you want to run out and buy this for your kids, then you’ve got a stone heart! WON’T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!!?…and buy this awesome bath toy.
