The Vancouver shoot for The Predator officially kicks off recently, and director Shane Black (The Nice Guys) is wasting absolutely no time providing us with our first look at his vision. Before cameras even begin rolling, Black just posted a behind-the-scenes shot of he and his cast, and to our surprise, all of the actors are in character. Black tweeted out the photo this morning.

He wrote:

Partial cast… beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers. Cameras roll today. Follow me on Twitter for updates. Wish us luck.

Pictured below you’ll see Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jacob Tremblay, all ready to do battle with the titular Predator.

Okay, so Tremblay doesn’t look so ready, but we’d love to see him kill a Predator.

As we recently told you, it’s been rumored that the new film will feature a 10-foot-tall, genetically enhanced Predator. It’s also been rumored to be set in the suburbs. Boyd Holbrook recently called The Predator a horror/sci-fi/western, and Black noted that it will be gory and rated R.

Thomas Jane is rumored. Kyle Strauts will play the Predator.

Black co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker and is directing.

Twentieth Century Fox’s reboot will arrive February 9th, 2018
